Watching Oliver Twist! Episode 1 expires today!
It's really good. Tom Hardy is amazing as Bill Sykes, Timothy Spall equally amazing as Fagin. William Miller makes a winsome but spunky Oliver. Excellent music too.
Mind you, I did not like the original book. Too sappy (sorry Dickens). So this is one of the first times I've ever said that the movie-- or the miniseries, as it were-- was better than the book.
